What kind of helmet do you have? Not sure what you mean by "peak", but if it has one of those detachable visors you should remove that ASAP. Will help immensely with your forward vision. You may also be able to move your helmet back on your head slightly, though obviously going too far back means your head isn't properly protected, just depends on how you're wearing it now.

As with most aspects of cycling, doing core work (planks, situps, ect.) will help with this issue. You'll also adapt to a certain extent over time.
