Although candy paint was popular with some of the French builders, especially in red and blue, I do recall Bianchi using candy green and possibly other colours on their high end models in the early 60s.

I had both of these frames repainted using House of Colour candy. It took a while to go through the paint book to find the right combination of base and candy colours to duplicate the original colours reasonably well. The modern candies require a clear top coat, and therefore probably look a little glossier than the original finish. I asked the painter to make the clear coat as thin as possible and use a flattening agent to reduce the gloss a bit.
WOW! Just wow! These are both gorgeous examples you have here! Who was the painter? Very nice restorations!
