Yet another post dramatically overstates and mischaracterizes research study.

Here's a legitimate takeaway: "Conclusions: Consuming energy primarily as carbohydrate or fat for 3 mo did not differentially influence visceral fat and metabolic syndrome in a low-processed, lower-glycemic dietary context. Our data do not support the idea that dietary fat per se promotes ectopic adiposity and cardiometabolic syndrome in humans."

If you don't want to follow the links, the study showed (again) no weight loss difference between high fat/low carb and high(ish) carb/low fat when calorie/protein intake the same.
