That's what I use, a Quad Lock mount to hold my iphone 6S. It works well for me. I can't keep the screen on unless the ride is less than an hour. If the ride is longer, I use an external battery for the phone. I use the RideWithGPS app. It gives me more data than I could ask for.
you only get an hour with screen on? Seems really low for a 6s. Do you have a lot running at once?
