I think Cosmodc's Apex fenders are killer. They would be a cinch to install and remove, and they don't have the steel side-support arms. It's just a matter of how they actually perform in wet weather. Maybe we can have Cosmodc flood his driveway with a garden hose and run the Swift through it a few times and report back to us.
I was thinking the water test would be useful too. I can't test in rain here at the moment, only snow! But even then fenders are essential; maybe even more so. Bottom line for me though if the fenders don't fend off the slop, I am not putting them on. So I'd rather be "frau" than have a reverse skunk stripe on my clothes.
