Or you could shop used. I picked up this Spectrum Super Ti (the better butted tubes, designed by Tom Kellogg, built by Merlin) frame for $750.00. Shimano 6800 group from Ribble for ~$500.00 and Pacenti wheels/hubs built by Ride Fast Racing. I think I am all in around $2,200.00. Rides wonderfully. I could have built it for less-105 group, off the shelf wheels, non-Ti seatpost, no Brooks saddle, etc. and been around $1,500.00. You pay your money and make your choices. I wanted Ti and something not seen every day. I got that and a great bike.
