That's been an ongoing struggle lately and quite of few of his races have been killed off. The promoter of that race has been the go to for race promotion in NorCal for decades and is losing ground monthly.
RR at least 2 hours from anyone, lots of hills, starting at 8 AM, t-shirt prizes... it's a recipe for low turnout!
Seattle would punish the cat 5's for being cat 5's and make them start at 8 AM, whereas pro/1/2 would be at 12 PM. That's the way it should be!
But here they run more fields, at the same time, and p1/2 is longer, so I guess that's why.
