Ive gotten to know quite a few people on different teams, and even tried to plan something with one of the guys in a crit (but of course my legs had other plans once the race started and I couldn't execute). I've even raced with another team when I was the only guy on my team at a race and I knew half of the other team that showed up with like 6 guys.


Don't be a dick and you will start to make "informal alliances" without even really trying, at least in my experience...which may or may not be worth anything.
