Bikes: Several...from old junk to new all-carbon.

Although the chain would be dry, the metal could still oxidize. If I were going to be that particular about my chain...after cleaning it I would completely douse it with WD-40...not for lubrication, but the the "WD" (water displacement) capabilities. Then I'd wipe all the WD-40 off and properly lube it.
