Great input all around, thanks. Initially, I felt since there isn't any pressing need for another bike since I've got this one, why not put some upgrades into it. I have come across a similar conclusion regarding the cost of the parts vs. the cost of the total bike. It seems to make the most sense to just keep it as is, considering the purchase price and save the upgrade mentality for something a bit more deserving down the road.
