The more I think about it, the more awful this decision looks for SRAM. I rarely see SRAM on any road bikes in the US.. they're all over MTN bikes though. Not that I plan to switch drivetrains.. but if I did switch from shimano, I'd be more likely to choose Campy than SRAM now.

I find it hard to believe that their market share will do anything but drop in the US based on this decision.
