SRAM requires customers to go through a SRAM retailer for warranty claims. Do you think that most LBS properly handle warranty claims for products the didn't sell?

ha. when the price difference is $400 i can afford to throw away a defective part and replace it from ebay and still come out flat.

so spell it out for me... exactly what value is the lbs adding to the product that justifies a 400 premium on a 1200 product?
