I'm thinking I've got them laced correctly but I want to get my mind around the different ways of describing lacing -- inbound/outbound, leading/trailing, pulling/pushing.

Maybe color code my pics to match the example ones.

Then order the other set of spokes/cassette.
Then tighten down my spokes, dish and true.
