I wanted something that was contrasting- I like the yellow tape more than black in any case and I like the look on brown and white cork tape; I was also considering using cloth tape like on the 720. The only reason it's any sort of issue to me is that I think the faux leather tape (or the way I did the tape) ends kind of thick- so it's not a smooth transition from bar tape, to tape to bar. IMO...

Yeah, I did a crappy job of it...





FWIW- the only DiaCompe part that I consciously used was the straddle roller yoke thingy.
