I got a tube with a longer valve stem and installed it in the wheel and it seems to be a bad tube. I've worked with presta tubes before so I put air in them the way you are supposed to. I might just cut my losses with the stock wheel set and try to find another Mavic wheelset.


I counted the teeth on both cassettes and the Mavic is a 12-23 and the stock wheelset is a 12-27.


I was able to get the cassette to shift into the biggest sprocket but now it won't shift into the two smallest.
