Yep, 10 speed friction is the bees knees. Small lever movements get you into the next gear change, HG cassette with a 10 speed chain shifts effortlessly. I tried this maybe 6-7 years ago and loved it, always regretted selling that bike.

If you ride friction a lot, it takes maybe 5 minutes to get it down pat.

Meanwhile, got it all cabled up today, put on the decals, hand painted the lug lining. Had to do some bottom bracketage to get the chainline set up correctly, but it now shifts up and down thru the triple pretty well. Have some braking issues to resolve, but parts are on the way!
