OK So for example, doing false tempo on the front. Hard enough to make people who aren't paying attention think real work is happening, but not so hard that it reels in the break. IMO it is on others to realize what is going on and come around you in that case. Another example, if people start attacking, latching on to the moves and not contributing any work. Some of the time they'll stop working when they realize who is with them, some of the time they'll burn their match and get brought back, some of the time they'll give you a free ride to the promised land (the break). A ******tastic movie that I would feel weird about would be when people finally realize what is going on, working your way into the rotation and intentionally letting gaps open up. I tend to take more of a back seat when that happens and go into "mark any move that launches" mode, or if I accidentally wind up in the rotation I will pull through while contributing the absolute minimum of work required before getting out of the way.
