I strongly suggest that you get a life and stop obsessing over your bicycle.

Don't be offended, it was partly tongue in cheek, but the point is valid. If you look carefully, you will find countless anomalies that, like this, mean absolutely nothing in the scheme of things.

Obsessing over them is not only a distraction from enjoying the bike by riding it, but can also be harmful to the bike. For example, a bearing that's adjusted too loose, will have lower drag when unloaded, but higher drag and wear when under load.
