The seat I use is a "Spider Flex." I ride about 150 to 250 miles a week. I've used the seat on 100+ miles rides. My muscles are tired from the ride, but there is no saddle induced pain in my crotch or butt. It takes a couple weeks to get your butt accustomed to the new seat. You'll find you can use the ergonomic saddle to control your bike just as effectively as a standard saddle, but it takes a day or two to get the muscle memory right.
