I have been looking at JIS headsets and see several on eBay in my price range of $5-$30. My question is does anyone know the stack hieght of the stock headset and how much leeway does one have in choosing a new headset with more or less stack hieght than the stock headset and it still work with the stock fork?
I am quite adept as an ameteur bike mechanic but I will admit that headsets are something I know very little about.
