When I felt the wind and the 24 degrees I decided not to ride today. But then I thought about how cold it would be standing for 20 minutes at the bus stop. So I hopped on the bike and the ride was terrific! Sunshine all the way, bike paths with no one on them, some space between the ice and I wasn't even cold. The handwarmers I bought are the only way I can ride in this weather. The best part is being asked when I get to work, "How could you stand it?" I shrug and just pity them for what they're missing.
