My trip Wednesday is bending my mind a little. I take off 12:20 from Washington, fly 13 hours to Tokyo, lay over almost 2 hours, then fly another 6 hours to Thailand. By the time I get in, it's 9:40 PM the following day.
Should I drink myself into a stupor on the first leg and hope for the best? Sleeping aides? Hard trainer ride before heading to the airport on Wednesday to exhaust myself? IDK.
Sleep a lot on the plane. Just force yourself to sleep. I didn't have much issue with jet lag there. I had more issues getting back. Japan is a day ahead, so it's so weird coming back, almost feels like going back in time. Honestly, only thing I do with that is just drink a lot of coffee, energy drinks whatever, fight through the day and try to get back on normal sleeping schedule as soon as I can.
