Am currently building up this GT Pulse Kinesis for velodrome use (if they'll ever finish resurfacing our velodrome).


Funny this thread suddenly comes up. Spent an hour last night building up the wheels and experimenting with Park Tools Spiffy Spoke Tension App, which really makes it easy to balance the spoke tension if you're willing to spend the time checking & recording the tensions. Dura Ace track hubs, Sugino 75 cranks, and the Specialized/Nitto version of the Scott Drop-In Bars. (We'll see what our velodrome officials have to say about the bars.)


And also recently grabbed this Shogun Ninja when the Ebay seller dropped it too low for me to resist. Am compiling Suntour Superbe Pro components to turn it into an Eroica Banzai-Assault vehicle. Was very pleased with the frame--much prettier and nicer quality than the photos let on. Them Japanese had something to prove in the 80's.
