My general rule of tire/frame/fork clearance is a min of about 5mm. The 10 to 20mm of open space around current tires would, in my view, allow for 5mm wider tires with no concerns. But as I mentioned before actually measure the tire to get it's mounted and inflated width/height. A lot of tires run a few mms smaller then their label suggests and a few wider. Andy
