Haha ... I Know What to Do When Getting Right Hooked
Yesterday I was joy riding this 1973 CCM 3 spd I had just bought 8 days ago. The tires are almost as old, the 2nd gear is stupidly low and 3 rd half working. Plus springtime sandy rough road conditions, so I was on the sidewalk of this 7 lane busy street at 4:00 with lots of driveways. So I was getting to a driveway at 10 mph and looked left and there was a super long dually pickup, with 2 old guys, starting to turn into me going slowly. I said hey not very loud and turned the wheel. Braking or leaning right would have been stupid. So then I leaned my arm on the crew cab of the truck as we kept turning about 20 feet until he stopped and I continued round to the right some more. Then I stopped and looked at him and he yelled are you alright.
I said yah, my bike didn't even touch the truck and didn't fall, so I wasn't mad at all. Then 5 seconds later a police car with his lights on pulled up beside the truck. LEO jumped out and paid NO attention to me WTF. He started talking to the driver and pointing back to where the truck apparently did something wrong. So I guess that is why he was distracted about me and wasn't going to turn anyway.
