my rides have been really good, i've had two incidents this year that i'd rather forget, but for the most part it's been great. beautiful desolate mornings. vibrant lively afternoons. perfect ride days.

i have gotten paddling gloves from MEC (canadian equivalent of REI) - and they work like a charm in the rain. good grip, neoprene keeps it all warm, and fingers for dexterity. highly recommend it.

using the cycliq to report unsafe people out there. to NYC's 311 and the like. probably nothing comes of it. but one day hope the footage will be more available/seen/used.
