Never had a second chance at that one. Didn't deserve one.
Making a mistake is bad. Not learning from it is worse. I learned my lesson and paid the piper when this really nice, early (1947) fillet brazed Schwinn Continental became available last year. I wasn't making the Golden Arrow mistake again.
