Well then I guess you aren't retired Congratulations! Sunds like a good start. I am 63 and my commute is 28-35 mi RT depending on the time of year. I commute on mostly gravel/limestone trails with a gravel bike because there are no safe roads for me to get to work. I can't do year round because of the snow or sogginess, so it takes me a while into the season to be able to do consecutive days.
