So I'm 17 miles out and I hear (what I would call but I'm a little strange) a gurgle grinding sound coming from my front hub. Stop, check break pads, spokes, rim is true, take wheel off and it's got a hell of a drag now and I can feel the bearings bumping as the tire spins (off bike axles in hands).

Ride my front wheel dragging smdh butt home lol, doesn't exactly fit my required fun/workout ratio for riding haha

Then bike in trunk, head to Performance. They tell me probably 2-3 weeks because they'll have to get the bearings from Rolf (2000 Klein Quantum, Rolf Vector) but the "master tech" will be in later and he can talk to you about pricing and actual time frame.

I'm like wth, said I'd come back. Head over to REI, guy explains it could be the bearings, the cones or the hub itself and offers to open it up and look.

Bearings replaced in less than an hour. We'll see how she rides tomorrow.
