Glad you were prepared for it. I might have turned into the parking lot to give the driver a piece of my mind...but then again I live in Canada.
He turned onto another road, actually. And I do have a mirror, which is how I knew what was about to happen, and was able to slow slightly so as to not hit the car. I just didn't have enough time to react when I saw his turn signal in the mirror. A second or two earlier and I would have moved left to the travel lane, and that never would have happened.
