I wouldn't. I was always taught to replace pulleys with pulleys of the exact same number of teeth. For that reason I still meticulously take care of my derailleurs with 10T pulleys (since they're getting harder and harder to find.) 11T is the norm now.

Just forewarning you. Metal pulleys are LOUD. My bike goes from "silent" to "obvious (and a bit annoying) clicking and noise" when I replace the non-stock nylon pulleys (that don't quite fit) with the stock metal ones. Unfortunately, being old school dura ace, the pulleys are freaking skinnier than normal pulleys, so I can't even FIND nylon replacements for them... (And if I use thicker pulleys the cage runs into the spokes.)
