Hi, I am visiting Castle Rock in June from Australia. Wondering if there is anyone that might have some suggestions or advice on riding fire trails west of the I25, for example the Pine- Foxton -Deckers area. I ride a road bike in Australia. So I have no experience on single tracks and rocky terrain. However, I am keen to venture onto gravel on a mountain bike and explore! Does anyone know what the surface of Rampart Range Road would be like in June. Happy to hear other suggestions of great rides 30-50 miles depending upon the terrain. Does anyone know of any scenic group rides in the Castle Rock/ south of Denver area....... group rides might help me stay on the right side of the road!!! thank you
