If you are talking about my post on the Dazer it is not a shock device. It puts out a high pitched sound (can't be heard by humans) that most dogs with aggressive behaviors can't stand to be around. You point it at a nice dog and they just cock their heads towards the ground. Stops dogs from barking too. Doesn't hurt them a bit. The sell them as repelling and training aids for dogs. I love dogs but I can't explain that to the dog thats trying to tear my leg off.
