Hadn't planned to be so lazy, but yesterday was a total bust, riding wise. Did pick up a new helmet and some spare tubes, though, and it was cool and windy, so today was the better day.
So today I hooked up with a couple of guys for another ride to Bear Mountain. Although we didn't ride any faster, the ride went by MUCH quicker than last weekend. I guess familiarity and good company will do that. Started out quite chilly, especially since I was determined to wear shorts today. But the sun was out and it warmed up quite nicely. Now I'm sitting here with itchy, sunburned knees
Just shy of 88 miles and 5,000' - about 10 miles and 500' more than similar ride last weekend. Guess I should plan on about 100 next weekend, eh?
