It used to be that we received notifications whenever someone quoted us in a post. We still do, so no issue.

But I'm now also getting a notification when I quote someone else, usually immediately on putting up the post.

Is this a change?, or was it always this way?

If it is a change, is it intentional or a glitch?.

Getting a notice immediately after putting up a post quoting someone seems pointless, but I wouldn't have said anything, except that I don't remember it being that way and was wonder if it's some kind of glitch.

Of course if it's always been that way, I'll chalk it up to too many years riding in the sun without a hat.
