The temps in NY have finally hit the mark for this particular fair weather bike commuter. I brought the bike up from the basement last night, installed my new Cygolite Hot Shot and Metro, hooked up my mp3 player and speaker, and went to bed chomping at the bit to get up in the morning and ride to work.

It's amazing how much stuff you forget when you slip out of the groove during the winter. For example, I left home without a water bottle or a house key! By tomorrow, I should have the routine back down again.

Anyway, the am was a little chilly and I didn't feel like my super-high-lumen flashing lights were turning as many heads as I'd been told they would, but it was an exhilarating ride, regardless. I've got two more hours of work until I get to ride home, and I'm really psyched for that.
