Thanks. I just learned what the little bungee stretchy thing is for on the middle of the shoe. The lace on my right shoe got caught in the big chainring and nearly tore in half. So I now tuck the shoe laces under the little bungee on both sides. They are pretty comfortable so no complaints there. I have no idea how long they will last. Will see. Also note that they are not as stiff and don't "grip your foot" like the Bont A-three. But I wasn't really expecting that for a simple $50 shoe with nylon soles.

Another great day today. I wimped out and did the park and ride. Will probably ride form home tomorrow.
