Commute on GP4000 sii tires.

Cross posting this here and in commuting forum, hope it's ok to do so.

Hello all and thanks in advance for your input.

The TLDR part can be skipped it's just an introductory rant!

TL;DR
One year ago I started commuting on my road bike (ridley Fenix classic), it's a 22 miles round trip, and whenever I can I ad an extra 20ish miles on top of that, maybe 2 days every week (on weekends I try to put a 60 miles ride too)

I started using gatorskins, but had a pair of GP 4 Seasons waiting for the gator to wear, I was not patient enough and replaced them with maybe 1k miles on them. Was so happy I did after the first ride on the GP4 Seasons, since the diference in the riding quality was really noticeable.

With about 5k miles on the GP4Seasons I started to get recurrent flats so I bought a couple of GP4000 sii (can't get the Seasons in my country so went for these.)

Today was my first commute on the 4000s and I felt the same improvement on ride suppleness that i noticed from the Gators to the Seasons, but maybe this is cause of riding the seasons with so much wear on them, or maybe it's just placebo effect.

I can buy seasons in the US and have a friend bringing them but I really loved the 4000s.

TLDR end.

Well all that wall of text is to ask if someone is commuting on GP4000 sii and how often are they getting flats (compared to other tires?) and if your choice will be to keep runing 4000s or wait till they wear out and buy more "tough" tires.

Thanks.

José.
