Cardio, and endurance work is great for burning fat... do 30 miles at a moderate pace 3x a week and that's 3000 calories. Make it 40m x 3 and it's 4000 calories. Around 1 to 1.5 lbs of fat burned if you do it at a moderate pace.
BUT ALSO DO THE CORE WORK. crunches, sit ups, planks, pushups, dumbbells, etc. Do them hard and fast and not slow and endurance. That will mobilize core / belly fat but more important, it will trigger a testosterone response which balances the testosterone depleting endurance work and boosts metabolism.
Do it all on a 2000 / day high protein diet and you will shed the fat. Most of it at least. May have to resort to lipo for that last 5. ;-)
Guessing you're into photography? Me too
Thanks for the above info. I'm inside my ideal weight according to NHS BMI calculator, but still the muffin top remains. It is coming off slowly.... too slowly.. so the above might be the way forward!
