I started out already on the thin side, 61 years old, 6'2" 200 lbs, by the fall I was around 180 lbs. BTW, I'm a very good eater and my eating habit never changed. I did ride as hard as my old body could take for about 1-2 hours each ride. I'm thinking the hills had something to do with the kind of workout I got, combine that with my metabolism and the weight just drops. This season I started out at 195 and have already dropped a couple of pounds.
Thanks for the encouragement
I've no idea why people think cycling won't help in losing weight. Of course it will; it burns calories
