Fortunately, I never use the mapping feature in bike computers. I basically just use it like an old fashioned bike computer, capturing ride data (and route) but other than staring at the pretty map on the Strava site after the ride, I pretty much ignore that stuff.

btw, I STILL haven't replaced my Garmin. I've mitigated the data loss by tapping save the INSTANT the ride is over, and for now that's kept the phantom ride problem at bay.
Oh my! I did not notice your OP was from last summer!

If your current unit is still meeting your needs, then that's that, but, if you are thinking about doing, both the Lezyne and Wahoo units have improved since then, and may be worth looking at again.

I realize you don't need the functionality, but as a BOLT user, I can tell you operating one is dead-simple, and a real joy to use (compared to Garmin E500 and 510).
