My mistake for thinking an A race was for category A riders and a B race was for Category B riders.
That would be like thinking a category 2 race was for Category 2 riders.
I must have missed the clarification some place as all of them are USAC categories.

If an A race is for Cat 3 riders, why not call it a Cat 3 race. That is where I am confused.
