People always underestimate the amount of work it takes to convert a drop bar bike to a flat bar bike.
Are you familiar with adjusting derailleurs? Changing cables? Housing? Brake cables and housing? Possibly a different stem? (Drop bars often use short stems while flat bars need a longer stem to replicate the same amount of reach.)
