I locate the clips to be just inside my hip bone. They are not an issue at all except sitting on some hard back chairs.

For events like Cycle Oregon - a week of blue Porta-Potties and often big changes in temperature over the day, not having bib straps is a real blessing! Being able to do my business with a line waiting for me in 30 degrees. I really don't like having to pull off and hang (where?) my jersey in those stalls. (And it sucks to have to wait in that same 30 degrees for guys ahead of me wearing those bibs.)
