Thanks for all the advice here! We're going to look at the bike this weekend ... but it does seem a bit cost prohibitive to buy a used Volpe and then spend around 2-400 just to do drop bar... I'm going to try and talk her into keeping the drop bar setup... the bike even has an extra set of brake levers on the flat portion...
