Because of the black ring between fork and frame I'm guessing a bit into the eighties. I did a search and found a similar a 1986 catalog picture. Claude Butler stayed very true to their build for decades, even the front logo stayed much the same. I'm sure some detective work will narrow it down to more than a wild guess :- )
