If you are able to take a snapshot of what is left of the script on the down tube, I bet there is someone here who could tell you the specific "house brand" of bicycle it was, within the Motobecane family of bike brands. All of the brands used the same fork with the flying M script worked into fork cap; I guess the thinking was that most people wouldn't notice, or wouldn't care. That zombie bike could use a bit'o love to help bring it back among the living... just saying.
