Edit: confirmed as a 1985 Peugeot PGN-10, 60cm.
Every spring a local city has an organized "spring cleaning" where residents put out unwanted large items and yard debris and the trash comes around in the morning to pick it up. We've been going for years to see what people are throwing out, and have always picked up a bike or two to give to the local non-profit / job training bike store.
This year, however, I found a very nice vintage Peugeot 12-speed in my size. I only got a cursory glance at the bike and components, and no pictures until tonight. It's got a fully chromed front fork with the sloped shoulders - no lugs there. The handlebars look like they're bare, but they've got a very odd silvery cellophane looking bar tape (in poor condition). The remaining components are a mishmash of parts, weinnmann side-pull brakes, sachs-huret derailleurs, mavic 700c aluminum rims.
I've been poking around here on others "identify my peugeot" threads and haven't seen any with the sloped shoulder fork like mine yet. I'm interested to figure out the year/model when I get home today.
It looks like all the old photos (thanks Google Photos) weren't showing, even though comments reference them. I'm dumping them on the first post so things make more sense. Hopefully using the uploader means BF server will keep them for a while.
