30+ years ago, when we lived in Hot 'Lanta, the Southern Bicycle League had an annual ride to Callaway Gardens (and back the next day after overnight camping). Fun ride - good people - nice scenery. Don't remember riding around the Gardens particularly, either on roads or trails.
