I'm happy with my Copper fits. Been using almost a year after two falls on the same knee on 2016 Eroica California. Don't know what the copper does, but the added warmth and support works for me. Warm enough for all but coldest LA rides, and not too hot on the hot days. $10 each side at Ralphs (Kroger). They have held up very well, just wish they were black not brown, to match my shorts.
